Getting some words written.

Today was the deadline for the papers for next week's "Bloggership" conference. Here's a list of the words in my essay least likely to appear in any of the other essays: oblivion, lollipop, Sopranos, bloxxing, psychotic, whore, squishy, gooey, strumpet's, ankle, fairy.

UPDATE: The papers will be posted here. Some are up already.

ANOTHER UPDATE: Mine's up.

Wow, half of those words form a coherent descriptive phrase:

Squishy, gooey strumpet's ankle fairy.

A good name for a band:

Oblivion Lollipop

Oblivion Lollipop would be a good name for a blog too.

This is the most unreadable confirmation word ever: tmmwvr.

or is it tmmvwr?

Something tells me yours is a hell of a good paper. Be sure to quote highlights here.
Looking at the list of presenters does make one curious. I mean, you would have to think that the presenters are not all going to agree on the issues behind blogging.

. . . on next week's Sopranos, Tony, suffers a health setback and once again on the edge of oblivion he has a psychotic vision of his squishy, gooey organs oozing through his wound while a whore from his past sucks on her strumpet's lollipop, meanwhile in New Hampshire while antiquing and a handsome bicyclist walks in with his bare shaved legs, Vito realizes that he's an Ankle Fairy.

(sorry Alan Kellogg, had to steal that)

(couldn't figure out a way to include bloxxing, too, my apologies for that failure)

This is sort of on-topic... The Zits cartoon strip today is about blogging... Ann, have any of your kids said that to you? Or maybe, jeez, Mom, don't blog about THAT... ?

Ann: Thanks for linking to the papers. I've already read a couple, and it's been time well spent this morning.

I look forward to reading your as well.

How come Instapundit is just teleconferencing? Did you have that option, too, but wanted to go to Boston in the springtime?

XWL: And with all that blogging about boxing up her University Heights home, it just came out "bloxxing."

"Strumpet's lollipop." Heh.

Love footnote 6!

Paglia might find it self-referential, no??

Randy: At first, I was, like, aww-I dunno about this new style, but then you went with it. Girl, you worked it out!

Paula: You are such a breath of fresh air.

Simon: I thought it was a little safe. A little indulgent. But, still, the best performance tonight.

Sippican: Yes, so don't be looking for me to sing to the tune of "Pulling Mussels From the Shell" in the next podcast.

Awwwwww .... .

I thought my kid might be able to learn the new words while listening to you perform it.

Madtown Hookahs sure are swell.

Cool for cats. Now I'm truly tempted, even if Ann won't oblige.

Well, send me an MP3 clip and I might include it! Make it good, though.
