Another comic Drudge juxaposition.

A reader sends this new example of what I like to call Drudgedy:

(The link for the "world's creepiest robot" went here.)

Obama reminds me of the priest in the Mummy. Not really one of us but watching us to time his next move.

Does the creepiest robot have orifaces? Not that I am in the market for that.

Fred4Pres said...

Oh wait, this is an Obama-Drudge post. Nevermind.

At least it isn't one of those pictures where Obama appears to have a halo around his anointed head.

wv: noroyl. FLOTUS, you are on an extravagant vacation in Spain, but you are no royal.

The black background of what I presume is a giant white letter A behind the President look like a KKK costume. Except black instead of white and they are placed perfectly to be a pointy hood and cape.

I don't know how the creepy robot fits in except for the black and white color scheme in the picture.

The Napolitano--body scan picture up right now is too obvious I guess.

MamaM said...

Close to skulldrudgerous but not quite.

I see this as a new form of political cartoon, an electronic one in which real images are used to market an opinion and provoke or call forth a response. It causes me to regard the peculiarities, laugh and ponder...the same way I respond to editorial cartoons in the newspaper.

Is there ANYONE in this administration who doesn't walk around with his/her chin in the air like Mussolini? Obama, Incompetano in that picture that's up now, Holder on that Minijust web site you wrote about a few days back, all doing their best Il Duce impression. Who says that you can't judge a book by its cover?

Phil 314 said...

why does our president do this, the chin up, eye looking down at the audience pose. Its such an arrogant Il Duce image.

I guess GWB had the regular clueless, shit eating grin look that emphasized the stereotype of dumb George.

Come to think of it Clinton had that partial smile "Is he laughing at me" look

so maybe they all have a "certain look"

It doesn't get any funnier than this...

The Big Sis juxtaposition right now is hilarious.

Oh, my...even an idiot like YOU can come up with something better than this ridiculous drivel. If it isn't the way the man talks, walks, stands or eats...a tea bagger will come up with something.

The President holds his chin up...?

Opposed to what?

Hanging his head down?

You're like little uneducated children.

Jeremy said...

Scott said..."Domo Arrigato

Scottie รจ un deficiente.

AllenS said...

There's a good possibility that Obama has his chin up because he's ready to accept some teabags. I was just reminded of that for some strange reason.

Scott said...

Like I said, all talking points and shitty invective. Try proving me wrong for once.

Scott said...

Not you Allen, was referring to Ms. Moby Coulter, who apparently didn't pick up the cultural reference because he's so stupid.

Fen said...

Jeremy/AlphaLibtard: The President holds his chin up?

Its his standard assumed pose and it looks stupid.

But why should we care what you think? You're so lame you have to hide out behind a sock puppet, AlpaLiberal

Juxtaposition just for fun:

Well said, Jeremy, well said. Remember when Althouse had intelligent and even amusing trolls? What happened to Titus?

Scott said...

Tim and Fen:

Please don't let "Jeremy" fool you.

"Jeremy" is really Ann Coulter in man drag. She comes over here pretending to be this outrageous stupid hateful venemous liberal. She wants to make liberals look evil and ugly. And, in my opinion, she's doing a magnificent job!

(Thank you, "Jeremy"! *wink*wink*)

Jeremy said...

Oh, the whiners are out in force today.

Scottie somehow connects me with Ann Coulter? (DUH)

Fen thinks the president looks "stupid." (Care to compare your educational credentials to President Obama's? (DUH)

AllenS appears to know quite a bit about how to hold your head when a fellow tea bagger drops their balls into his mouth. (GOOD ONE!!)

Timmy is offended because I slammed little closet gay Mathew and the Queen. (Oh...poor baby.)

C'mon...tea baggers...get with it. Even a pack of wingnuts should be able to come up with something more original than this silly blather.

El Cid said...

Jeremy. English form of Jeremiah. Hmmm. Just could be.

He/She/It's pontifications are similar. Let's see one with "Jews" and "Whites", OR if you prefer "Blacks" Jeremiah..

Let us ROCK this place, Jeremiah.

Scott said...

"Jeremy" is so clever and cute today.

El Cid said...

All around delightful, engaging, educated, personable, fun, funny, romantic, fit, and liberal human being

On the other hand, (you switch hitter, you) Jeremiah's "about me" kinda' sounds like The One, in all his glory.

tim maguire said...

Well you don't give us much to work with Jeremy. And this is my last troll feeding today, folks.

Phil 314 said...

Jeremy;

(yes I know everyone, don't feed the trolls)

Did you happen to read all 50 words of my comment. If you were to comment on anything I was sure you'd go for the GWB part.

Or maybe you didn't get the drift of the comment: the repeated "poses" of our presidents and how they fit a narrative/stereotype.

PS I've never been to a Tea Party rally and (son of a gun) I voted for Clinton in '92 and '96.

Obama looks like one of those Easter Island dudes: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Moai_Easter_Island_InvMH-35-61-1.jpg

Easter Island dude would make a better President tho.

MamaM said...

Aroused trolls!!!

A sure sign the noisy bridge they sit under and claim to own has once again been crossed.

The sputtering, invective, and repetitive posturing would be comical if it weren't so dull and predictable.

Their troll voices remind me of the ones Brian Regan uses to mimic authoritarian adult/clueless kid interactions.

The one up now is too much: Napolitano appearing to peer at a naked woman. Well, naked enough, anyway.

A.W. said...

btw, speaking of drudge, we are seeing this on the site under one of those alarm graphics:

> SOURCE: CA Prop 8 held to be unconstitutional under due process and equal protection. Court enjoins enforcement of Prop 8... Will be released at 2 pm pt...

sorry, but that is crap. the idea that the founders of the 14th A understood that they were legalizing gay marriage is complete crap.

A.W. said...

and now cnn is verifying it, so sounds like a done deal.

Libtard: Fen thinks the president looks "stupid."

Geez Jeremy/Alpha, learn to read. I didn't say DHOTUS looks stupid, I said his affected pose ("it") looks stupid.

Care to compare your educational credentials to President Obama's?

Sure. For starters, mine aren't based on the color of my skin.

As for the rest, I'll release my grades as soon as Obama does....

Libtard: DUH

No, its DHOTUS. Diversity Hire Of The United States.

Please do try to keep up, AlphaLibtard.

Beth Donovan said...

I have always thought that the annoying Obama pose was due to his utter dependence upon the TOTUS.
But, either he has used the TOTUS so much that his neck is stuck holding his head up that way or he really is just looking down his nose at us.

Either way, it's obvious that Obama thinks that he is a ruler, not a servant to the people of the USA.

David said...

OK, this one was just too rich to pass up.
"Care to compare your educational credentials to President Obama's?"
Why, yes, yes I do. Mine blow his out of the water, even not minding that engineers like me figure out how to make useful things that benefit society, while lawyers just figure out how to steal the bounty for their own selfish gain.
Of course the real problem for a leftist with this line of questioning isn't what happens when you compare Obama's education credentials to the casual Althouse reader, it happens when you compare them to his supposedly knuckle-dragging predecessor. Hint: practically identical.
All of which becomes even more moot when you consider the vast differences between being educated, being smart, and having sense.
