"It's my theory that this chap Meade is the arch-criminal and he's behind the whole thing."

"Meade" is in 210 phrases in 30 movies (with a lot of repetitions in "Gone With the Wind"), but "Althouse" is in none. I'm especially enjoying the Meades in the 1942 movie "Sherlock Holmes and the Voice of Terror."
Meade has led us to the Voice of Terror.

It's not exactly comprehensive. I searched "Waco" and it missed First Monday in October and The Over The Hill Gang Rides Again.

Correction: I didn't use quotes. Subzin works like Google: without quotes, the hits can be pretty inexact. Still...

"you don't get it, do you" has been found in 107 phrases from 101 movies and series

"you just don't get it, do you has been found in 43 phrases from 41 movies and series

I'm a little surprised. It's an awfully corny expression, so why did only two thirds of the script writers go only part way, leaving out the "just"? It's so much crappier with the "just".

Does that mean Ann is Watson to Meade's Holmes or just Mrs Hudson?

/ducks

Of course, if she's like this Hudson, she always steals the show.

(Do you think that will placate her?)

Not to mention all those street corners where a certain courting couple could be found.

My full name was found in 0 phrases in 0 movies, even without quotation marks, which kind of surprises me because my last name is a verb.

My first name, however, was found in 83 phrases from 20 movies, the first of which is "Kristin came back to destroy the tower." Bwahaha.
