Meade asks a Kloppenburg supporter 6 questions.

Today, at the Capitol:

That dude is Canadian.

I don't think so; that accent is common in these parts.

My first gut reaction to watching that video is:

What the hell is everyone so damn angry about?

It's seething

When asked if she would vote for David Prosser knowing he called Shirley Abramson a bitch, Mary Jo Kopechne is still unavailable for comment.

Meade's reporting skills appear to be steadily improving.

Full recount is the only way to settle this so everybody can walk away from it.

Granted, I love that Prosser will take this because it has to throw a scare into the unions and the Demos regarding next year, but Soros, ACORN, and the rest of the Lefty vote-steaing machine have damaged the credibility of the process enough, so an open, honest recount really is necessary.

Granted also, the Lefties will act like spoiled 3 year olds about this the way the did about '00, but whoever really won needs to be able to point to the result and say that all the votes were honestly counted. Right now WI looks like Chicago at its worst.

@Browndog

Totally agree the "seething" comment.

It is so personal for them. I've got to admit that I probably sound like that when arguing with friends / family members who make inane comments like, "we just have to make the rich pay their fair share", etc....but hopefully I am usually calm and steady. Like Meade.

Okay, one lone dude threatens to show up with 50,000 thugs.

You want me to take this loner seriously?

Until the election is certified, no one knows who won. And, the JS folks in Milwaukee aren't updating their numbers, either.

The AP just turned into Dan Rather.

As to Kloppenburg's "acceptance speech," ain't worth a darn. And,you'll notice she's asked if she spoke to Prosser. And, her answer was NO.

Just another Gore. Didn't win. But will claim she did.

They are "seething" because someone has had the audacity to challenge their worldview. They are not used to that in Madison, I guess. These people are so completely identified with every iota of the leftist narrative, that a challenge to any part is a challenge to the whole, and that means a challenge to their entire identity.

Funny--he thinks Prosser is a jerk for calling Abrahamson a bitch, and yet he has no problem calling those other women whores.

Pot, meet kettle.

Hahaha, I saw that guy today. Why does he have that "security" arm band on?

What purpose did that interview serve Meade?

Lance said...

"The Walker is a referendum on freedom."

I can't help myself, I know the guy was on the spot and probably not used to it, but that's pretty sweet.

Why would a recount be any more accurate or even satisfying than the first count? If the recount produced a different result, is there some way you could know that it's a better result?

Meade - Please ask the average man (or woman) in the Madison street if/why they feel obligated to support government employees who make $100,000 a year, take 3 month vacations, and generally don't know their ass from a hole in the wall.

Thanks.

Hit the nail on the head, Victor.
Next time, aim that hammer a little farther to the left...tee hee.

Meade is such a goofball.

When this thing ends, he'll need to find a new way to occupy his time.

I think he should start a dog walking business.

-A while back he referenced having a truck, so he has the necessary equipment.

-He really seems to like dogs

-That guy seems like he'd be up to no good if he wasn't busy w/ stuff.

-libs love to pay folks to pamper their dogs, and via the grapevine, I've learned that Madison has more than a few libs.

-Meade has access to a lawyer who can write up a solid contract that will ensure Meade's protected from the potentially problematic liability associated w/ caring for someone's dog.

Maybe Meadehouse can stop crunching the numbers on the SC race, so that they can do the math on Meade's perfect job/keep-out-of-trouble-avocation.

The accent? Have none of you listened to Palin for the last two years?

The accents are almost the same. People thought Palin was from Canada for a while after she was first picked by McCain, she sounded like such a hockey puck. This guy sounds the same. There's this whole slew of people up in that entire belt that sound "Canadian".

wv: mederbu - What Meade's been up to lately...

PaulV said...

PbJ, are you always so silly? Or just in denial?

PaulV said...

How many people really think that no one in that whole town voted?

Sprezzatura said...

Paul,

Is it possible to be both.

If so, I'd say that's the best fit.

Sal said...

He's sounds Canadian but he doesn't say "eh?" So that you should clue you in he's from WesCONsen.

His politics are Canadian though.

Sprezzatura said...

BTW,

I'm assuming that Madison has nice off leash parks, with long trails. If Madison only has the lame, fenced field off leash parks, they should definitely lose points in the liberal city competition.

The idea is that Meade will round up the pups, and drive them to the park. Then he'll lead the pack, like any good Alpha would do.

I don't think Meade should be walking a dog or two on neighborhood streets--that's for loser dog walkers. Meade needs to be handling ten or more dogs at a time.

Good video.

Did indeed capture the seething rage of Madison lefties.

And only amplified by the seething, childish rage of pbAndj.

Sorry ed, there are literate people on his list who still think Gore won FL even after the NYT did a recount.

Oh. And the interviewee - is he a teacher?

I go to Sycamore dog park on the east side. Even though Quann is closer to my house, there are too many stuckup pretentious people there due to its closer proximity to the downtown of Madison for me to frequent it. I hate it when my wife suggests it. However Sycamore is populated by alot of teachers and state workers so I've been getting earblasts of the hate and rage for the last month or so. Meade should definitely come out to Sycamore!

This man personifies exactly what is wrong with Madison politics:

(1) Entrenched mentality approaching entitlement. Leftist have set the agenda there for so long that they believe they've been in power forever. They haven't.

(2) Overweening pride in one's own beliefs to the point of becoming blinded to hypocrisy. As someone already pointed: his bitch/whore issues.

(3) His smug "only I know best" attitude. I pity you dude-whoever you are.

William said...

That's why most people never go to demonstrations. Think of thousands of such people massed in a single palce. There are very few issues upon which that man does not speak with absolute certainty and at great length. They say bartenders are at high risk of becoming alkies. Teachers are at great risk of becoming know-it-alls.

More proof that liberalism is the mental illness of choice in Madison. Free speech's #1 value is to reveal the world view of the speakers so that we can protect ourselves from them. That is why liberals are trained to stick to "The Talking Points", which prevents that full value of free speech from being used against them.

The hypocrisy always amazes how people seemingly are able to reconcile contradictions and within almost the same breath. Meade should have inquired how the interviewee reconciled his own whore comment with Prosser as jerk.

Seriously, I didn't spend half as much time obsessing over my freshman year crush as he spends contemplatin "future Meade" scenarios.

Nope. Only fenced-in leashless dog parks.

In practice, there is a nice no-leash area between Glenway Golf Course and the Cemetery, but it's pretty muddy on the trails this time of year. And about 2x a year, the police will cite you for having the dog off leash.

Lincolntf said...

But not for attacking the Capitol building? Odd place, Madison.

What the hell is everyone so damn angry about?

I'd guess that the ones who won in November are angry that the losers are refusing to accept the results, and being sore losers, and that the losers are angry because their sense of entitlement is offended, and their unions are seeing their power broken now that they have ceased seeking fairness and are clinging to pay and benefits that the public cannot continue to pay and remain solvent.

Most fair-minded people seeing the pie shrinking would agree that everybody has to take a smaller slice, but these people consider extortion to be their inalienable right. It isn't. Collective bargaining is a privilege that can and should be forfeited when it begins to be abused.

Lincolntf said...

You never heard the term "skidbag"?

Circa 6th grade it was a popular variation of "scumbag", implying "skid marks" in one's undergarments. Generally applied to the same people we called "grubs".
