Halos for everybody.

At Drudge, right now, in the right-hand column, we've got both candidates, Romney and Obama,  emitting light rays from their noggins:

And in case you need a bigger nudge, there's good old Jesus, in his best internet-meme incarnation, that icon the old Spanish lady mis-restored. Botched-Icon Jesus is back on the front page today, because the old lady, wants to royalties now that fans are flooding into Zaragoza to see her painting.
An internet petition to keep the repair job garnered widespread support and seizing an opportunity to swell its coffers, the church began levying a 4 euro (£3) entrance fee on visitors, earning 2,000 euros in the first four days.
Lawyers acting for [Cecilia] Gimenez now insist she should be entitled to a cut of the profits, which she wants to go towards a charity of her choice....
Family of the original artist have called for the image of Christ with a crown of thorns to be restored to its former glory and have said they will seek legal action against Mrs Gimenez for "destroying" the work.
The Sancti Spiritus Hospital Foundation, which owns the Sanctuario de Misericordia, has also retained lawyers to defend the action and retain their right to proceeds from visitors to the church...
Art and law and religion... and greed. Always a fine mix!

ADDED: Note the line under the Obama pic: "Campaign Pitches Last Supper..."

ALSO: The candidate's hands are funny, with Romney making an "O" and Obama pointing as if he could poke his finger into the hole. Freudian observations are obvious.

And at the same time, on the left is the bloody handprint pic and in the middle the bloody handprint flag.

And I wonder what is up with Romney making a circle with his fingers while Obama is just pointing. The two put together is commonly interpreted as "fuck" or "screw."

I like how this is cut off, because, though I exceedingly rarely visit Drudge (maybe once in a blue moon), the image looks like it could say: "Campaign pitches last Supp(er)."

... Holy smokes, that's ACTUALLY what it says.

She wants money for a painting she destroyed?! That's some gall.

Charge admission and use the money to fix it when the excitement dies down

These halos of which you speak, that are used to say hey look they've provided Obama a halo, they're showing him as their deity. I would like you to think about something. Have you ever tried to photograph something black and make it look great? Black wearing black. Black wearing black in a dark room. It's not so easy. You look for available light and that's a great way to get contrast.

My Belgian sheepdogs were all beautiful lustrous layered black. They were so beautiful silken compellingly black that it made you want to touch their faces. They'd come up to you and sit next to you and you had to touch them. Everybody did. But they photographed like black blobs. Awful. Not them, me, I had no idea what it took.

Why don't they do that more with white politicians? I don't know the answer to that, because it's blatantly silly, I suppose.

Good to know Drudge/Limbaugh are having the same effect on this presidential election as they had on 2008.

but, but, but they will continue to carry water er bail water from Willard's sinkin' ship regardless!

But the church is making money off the tourists who love and laugh at Destroyed-Icon Jesus.

It's like Rauschenberg's "Erased DeKooning." Worth lots of money!

(DeKooning consented, though.)

I read it that Jesus gave consent.

Also not the slegehammer above Holder's head and the expression on his face.

And what the heck is the "Arab Forum on Asset Recovery"?

She wants a cut of the money the church is getting... so she can give it to the charity of her choice???

Um. Isn't her local church a charity? Isn't it one she supports -- like with her time and heartfelt effort trying to restore the painting in the first place?

How did Mitty get so tan? A little visit to the tanning beds?

And right before his visit to Univison. Hmmmm

The aura of holiness around the Prophet Obama is always there.

But where is one around the Man From Salt Lake City? Mormons need equal time.

The latest word out of Team Romney is that they now plan to let Mitt speak in public his own heart felt values and vision so women will feel they know him.

Get ready...here it comes... just wait a bit...it's coming soon...did you see it?

The picture of Holder jumped out at me. Recent conference in Doha, Qatar, on retrieving monies moved out of the grasp of the "Arab Spring," aka international terrorists. That international terrorist is there to help allied others get it back. Story under picture isn't about that, or is it? Althouse didn't comment on that picture or it's story.

Obama seems like a pitcher to me.

Romney doesn't strike me as a pitcher or a catcher.

In the center of Drudge's page, there is a seal with what looks like a pair of balls on it.

And Kate is below it, looking up.

Didn't think that was a halo on the Romster, just a good light.

Look again. The Romster is doing the "OK" sign and Zero is giving a "Hook 'Em, Horns".

As if that will get him Texas.

Except that the only one going down
is Zero. Gallup: Approval A New High In Low.

The Arab Forum on Asset Recovery seem to be a Middle East chapter of a UN initiative to recover funds looted from developing nations in the form of bribery, embezzlement, etc. by prosecuting the offenders in such courts as may be available.

This has no connection to the articles by the picture, so I assume Drudge's idea is that the judge's gavel above Holder's head will also do for Fast & Furious and its probable outcome for Holder.
