"It may be just me, but the Drive-Bys are not talking about the amnesty bill vote from yesterday very much."

Said Rush Limbaugh today. (Drive-Bys = mainstream media.)
I think they don't want to report what's in this bill. They don't want people concerned with Alec Baldwin's latest rant to know what's in this. They don't want people occupied, focused on Paula Deen to know what's in this. They don't want people who can't believe the star witness at the Zimmerman case....

The latest is that it was reported by some British newspaper that Alec Baldwin's wife was tweeting smoothie recipes at the funeral for James Gandolfini.... Paula Deen said the N-word 30 years ago, and has probably cried 15 buckets of tears about it all week long...

As usual, Rush is right.

In real life, Baldwin is a rather nasty piece of work.

I'll just bet the media doesn't want to talk about it.

Son of "We have to pass it to see what's in it".

And basically washed up.

With a real unemployment rate still above 10% in most states can anyone tell me what the artificial immediacy of trying to ram this bill through, right this minute? Its DOA in the house and no really really cares.

Radio Derb nominated Jeff Sessions for President, based on his demurral.

Cruz, Rand Paul, and Sessions have covered themselves with glory on this one.

Too bad Rubio didn't think a bit about this.

The nomination that might easily have been his will go elsewhere.

haven't we had enough young inexperienced senators thinking they can be president?

I think I'm going to limit my preference to governors that have served two or more terms.

You get no argument from me; it's just that Rubio could have been the Golden Boy.

Lucky for us he sold out early.

The issue is, media propaganda to the contrary, demographics are against the Demos.

We now have net negative immigration.

The Roe Effect (Conservative parents not only tending to have kids that grow up to be Conservative, but also more of them (3 - 6) while the Lefties abort all or most of theirs leaving only 1 or 2 designer kids) will start to kick in within the next 10-20 years.

Unlike blacks, within a couple of generations of coming to this country, Hispanics tend to trend more Conservative and take on the older values.

If Chuckie doesn't import 35 million peons, the Demos are screwed.

BTW, the real unemployment rate is a lot more than 10. You may dispute the exact figure in this piece, but his use of disability numbers (where people go when unemployment runs out) is one most people don't consider.

Bis Sis will have the final say in whether or not the fence is built. As our ruling class's natural allies say, "Death to America!"

We won't hear much about the bill until the 2014 elections start heating up.

Distractions...Distractions.

Amnesty is fine but a secure and annually certified border 1st; with immediate deportation for new illegals whether desert crossers or Visa overstayers.

The Senate Bill is a Scat Sandwich!

Obama's proposal of amnesty for tens of millions of illegal aliens is a present and progressive violation of civil rights. It is also a definite statement that he does not care about the causes which motivate mass immigration of a select population.

Oh, well. He has his revenue generation scheme known as "Obamacare"; and soon he will disenfranchise and displace American citizens, and secure the corruption which motivated tens of mullions of illegal aliens to flee their native lands.

FORWARD to dysfunctional convergence.

I don't know what to do about 12 million people we allowed to illegally enter the country and stay. It's an effing mess and there are significant losers to every solution. My biggest worry, though, is that eventually we'll 12 million votes and disenfranchise millions of current voters. Why stuff ballet boxes when we can legalize a massive influx of voter fraud?

No, as nobody wants it, he'll be left with the tab.

Should come due around November next year.

Rubio fucked up. He could have put up a good immigration bill that secured the border and set up a good work visa program. But he drank the shumer juice instead.

Nobody likes a liar except Democrats who seem to attract the most repulsive people on the planet. At least in republican primaries frauds are ridiculed. His "A path to citizenship is amnesty" quote will be brought up in the first primary debate and he will be humiliated. If he is stupid enough to run in the first place.

Cruz took his spot as the Tea Party Hispanic leader by actually having a small government core. Rubio is done. We don't need him. We don't really even want him. He can go join Christie in the Obama Dhimi party.

The Bill doesn't require this.

rcocean said...

What to do? There's no reason to DO Anything, except secure the borders and enforce the immigration laws by deporting people who overstay their Visas.

As for the 11 Million illegals, they can live in the shadows or go home. No one asked them to come here. They don't seem mind leaving in the shadows in any case.

Its say a lot that bill that will allow 11 million new Democrat voters and change the USA and political balance of power for the next 20 years gets 19 comments, while some meaningless Gay marriage thread racks up over 400.

LOL!

France opened the floodgates to Arab immigrants in the 80's and now the Arab birthrate is significantly higher than the non-Arab French birthrate. Importing Sharia and many unwelcomed social situations.

This law will open the floodgates to a new crop of "illegals" and the country will have a fiscal mess to pay for it. The Dims want to wreck the economy for "fairness". Ugh.

Not even an illusion of fairness. Their single motivation is to advance their political, economic, and social standing. That's it. They don't care about anyone but themselves. They are fundamentally corrupt.

Illegals are not living in the shadows. They are standing in line in emergency rooms or at Walmart waiting to use their EBT cards to buy junk food and their under-the-table cash to buy beer and cigarettes. No proof of citizenship is required to sign up for the SNAP program.

I stand in line behind them every time I go to a Walmart or Aldis.
