Dufnering.

Dufnering.

ADDED: "'Dufnering' took on a whole new meaning on Sunday when laid-back Jason Dufner claimed the PGA Championship, transforming the 36-year-old cult figure into a major winner."

I don't get it. I must be old.

Little late to the Dufnering craze.

@roundeye I updated with the "new meaning" link.

Why does Dufner remind me of Orr, Yosarian's tent mate, in Catch 22?

That guy has a secret plan he is hiding behind his mild façade.

Meh... 15 minutes of fame has been reduced to 15 seconds, plus some internet frivolity.

And on top of that, at least planking was cuter. But still silly. I shudder to think what depths of inanity internet cultural memes will reach. I thought they were pretty low when lolcats first came around; somehow, the bottom of that hole's been dug even deeper.

I suspect Bubba Watson started this as a Bubba joke on his friend.

I loved Jason saying that golf is boring to him, you hit the fairway and greens or you don't, except for the putting. And after he sinks his first putt then he flat lines for the rest of the round.

This is grade A Red Neck humor.

I was hoping "dufnering" meant patting your wife's butt on TV after winning a big golf championship. Hands down my favorite part of the tournament. Hands down, heh, see what I did there?

He was born in Ohio and grew up in Florida. Must have learned a lot of red neck at Auburn.

That swing is something to behold.

Hmmm. Yet another massive joke that I am not in on.

(This describes more and more of my life lately.)
