"It was a Montana moment I'll never forget, I mean I grew up here in Whitefish, Montana and when I saw that, that is what makes Montana great."

What was it? See for yourself:

A bear has a laptop.

I've heard about the bear in the woods...

The Russians!

Hacking!

Does a bear multitask in the woods? You know, like shit and type an email at the same time.

Trump needs to address our ever widening hacking gap with the Russians.

Here's a Democrat bear. He's waiting for his free lunch.

Ah, but can the bear get past the "I'm not a robot" question?

Ann - you shouldn't have done that to me. Maybe another month until we get back to MT, as we struggle to put the house together in AZ. Kalispell, next door to White Fish, is under 2 hours away by back roads (which, in MT terms, makes it next door), and we discovered someone there last summer who ranches bison and elk. We have had a guy come by a couple times trying to sell steaks here in AZ. I didn't have the heart to tell them that we get more grain fed beef every year than we can eat from my partner's ex, who trades some of his alfalfa with one of the neighboring farmers for it, a couple miles downriver from us in MT. If you love meat, MT is the place to be. Unless bears freak you out, then maybe not. Had a black bear on the back porch a couple years ago after she had me throw out uneaten meat there. She doesn't quite get that you don't want to bring bears in close to the house. (Her ex has had some on the edge of the ranch for decades, but he has almost a half a section, and not a city lot like we do). Pre-venisons are fine. Bears not so. She hand feeds the deer off the front porch. I apparently scare them off. Can't figure out why. We can't discharge firearms within the city limits (and the deer know it, which is why they are such a nuisance there). Not so out of town, where a friend's "honey do" list every year includes taking the screen off the kitchen window so his wife can take her deer and elk every year from the kitchen. We go through this yearning every spring, but this year, we can't give in to the allure of MT, with half our stuff still undigested into the new house.

Ann -I have noticed that you have linked to stuff multiple times from the paper there, so I have to figure you have visited. We pretty much stay out of Glacier Nat Park until maybe Labor Day. Too much of a zoo. Whole area gets too crazy. Fall is nice in NW MT. Now that you no longer have classes every year at that time, maybe we will run into you there. If you do show up, we can introduce you to the guy who ranches the elk and bison (and sells it at his motel in Kalispell).
