Is that Coke misspelled? The little carnal superman said that his toys all died a horrible death that afternoon. He is cruising for a bruising. But the parents may have heard of other parents being arrested for spanking their children. So what's to be done? This kid NEEDS competitive sports.

Alert: Andrew sullivan is on Spitzer/Parker as we speak.

I thought this was going to be about ipod commercials.

Sullivan was very good. The subject was one that he is the expert on: gay rights. And he was lead into stating that Obama "betrayed him" and that Obama has no principles. Why these two hosts get so much out of their guests is a puzzle. Earlier the GOP grand brahmin, Richard Viguerie, spoke talking points and talked down to the woman Parker as only an oldtime Texas rich asshole can get away with. All was well handled by the Spitz.

I'm sorry, I just skimmed it. Something about someone having a tantrum. Was it about a kid, or about teapartiers?

Speaking of which, GlennBeck got his teaparty supporters to donate to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, a group that supports amnesty, massive immigration, illegal immigration, outsourcing, and globalism in general. I thought I'd seen everything, but that takes the cake.

Poor Lonewascko, if HE tried to get people to contribute to any organization I'd guess they'd net $1.98.

Must suck to be so sadly powerless, that you have to troll another MORE POPULAR webstite to try to scrounge a few page views.

Remember Lonewacko "Envy" is one of the Big Sins...I believe "Snark" is only a venial one.

As to the topic of the little article...she seems very wilful.

Actually, if true, this is a HORRIBLE story...of gluttony and pride.

She ruins her grandfathers birthday with her awful behavior. If this is true, she doesn't even seem contrite.

Contrition in four-year-olds lasts something under five seconds. It certainly evaporates in the presence of more cake.

I didn't realize the author was a FOUR Y.O. She certainly seemed older, you know she seemed an adult...

And eating it too.

" I would eat all of the cake or I would evaporate from the sheer power of my desire to eat it."

I remember that feeling, but it seems to me that it had something to do with women.

The author was narrating an episode of her childhood. She's all of 25 or so now, so I suspect she can refrain from eating entire cakes in one go.

That was awesome. She perfectly captured/expressed the single-mindedness of a determined 4-year-old. Love the illustrations, too.

(Also, reminded me that I am happy that my children are a lot older than 4 now.)

I loved the story and the illustrations. Hilarious.

And I loved the way the guys focused on their cake--Sullivan!!!

Well, your CD collection looks shiny and costly.
How much did you pay for your bad Moto Guzi?
And how much did you spend on your black leather jacket?
Is it you or your parents in this income tax bracket?

Now tickets to concerts and drinking at clubs,
Sometimes for music that you haven't even heard of.
And how much did you pay for your rock'n'roll t-shirt
That proves you were there,
That you heard of them first?

How do you afford your rock'n'roll lifestyle?
Ah, tell me.

How much did you pay for the chunk of his guitar,
The one he ruthlessly smashed at the end of the show?
And how much will he pay for a brand new guitar,
One which he'll ruthlessly smash at the end of another show?
And how long will the workers keep building him new ones?
As long as their soda cans are red, white, and blue ones.
And how long will the workers keep building him new ones?
As long as their soda cans are red, white, and blue ones.

Aging black leather and hospital bills,
Tattoo removal and dozens of pills.
Your liver pays dearly now for youthful magic moments,
But rock on completely with some brand new components.

How do you afford your rock'n'roll lifestyle?

Excess ain't rebellion.
You're drinking what they're selling.
Your self-destruction doesn't hurt them.
Your chaos won't convert them.
They're so happy to rebuild it.
You'll never really kill it.
Yeah, excess ain't rebellion.
You're drinking what they're selling.
Excess ain't rebellion.
You're drinking,
You're drinking,
You're drinking what they're selling.

Cake.
