I have to ask, does Meade have an opinion about the Spring Grove Spongebob story? If memory serves, Meade's from Cincinnati...

I'm just curious if he's seen the story and what he thinks. :)

So Obama shut down the government refusing to delay individual mandate and now he is forced to delay individual mandate. Karma!

I just read the post on Obama in 2007 below. So Althouse feels defrauded. It makes me sad that intelligent people like her fell for this charlatan which many of us realized well before Democratic primary'08. The behavior of the media should have alerted even the most gullible ones. He is a phony, as someone else notable said recently. It is a shame that that is all he could muster out of a Harvard education and a white mother/grandparents and fairly healthy home/family life.

A few days ago a black kid shunted from one foster home to another went to his local church and implored if someone could adopt him and give him a good home. I hope that kid gets a healthy home and grows up to be a productive citizen that he so much desires to be.

The warning was clear, and firm: Don't throw the tennis ball or the dog (Charlie) will never leave you alone and bark the whole time.

Were the warning not so precise I would have folded, sans pressure, and kicked around the ball a bit for goofs.

Good thing I didn't. This little guy, he liked his TBs. In one room a random one popped up, and by God he barked at me. Indignant. I wouldn't touch it. He walked up to it, several times, got set, then bent down his snout and pushed the ball toward me in a manner most unique. It was a show. He was performing, and expected a performance from me in return.

How could I be there, with THE BALL, and not oblige him?

The reason was the warning.

I feel I need to clarify because my writing is too shitty.

1. How can someone, someone not a complete asshole, use the term "precise" while treating "throw" and "kick[ing]" as synonyms?

Because this was a true interaction-with-human story and hence while the term "throw" wasn't as precise as perhaps, in some era known or not, possible the rest of the statement, and accompanying communication nonverbal, were just so.

2. "Charlie" is a racist term right, so why do you wield it for other-than-racist reasons, if such as be in existence?

Fuck off.

Keep telling yourself that. If it makes you feel better.

and now he is forced to delay individual mandate. Karma!

No, if he does so, it's taking responsibility for the mess of the Obamacare roll-out. But if that does happen, it's because liberals identified and admitted the problem (we are the reality-based community, after all) and acted. The anti-Obama whiners have no credibility or standing in this conversation. Incidentally, Social Security has roll-out problems also, but it turned out fine, despite the rants of the Tea Partiers of that era.

But hey, maybe you can watch a Sarah Palin reality show on Hulu or Netflix to console yourself, pm317.

Suppose Obama delays the individual mandate in order to help fellow Dems win the Houses in 2014. They'll still have to do something about the shitty economy and that could mean a repeat of the 2012 strategy: postpone the employer mandate in 2014 again. Dems show that the whole thing is an indefinitely postponable travesty. Eventually, Americans get fed up with high unemployment and higher energy prices. Presto, party change.

If Obama only spared one thought about letting jobs happen throughout the nation instead of concentrating Federal jobs in DC...

Much deeper than I had originally thought, this is in effect "shooting star" or "fade away" pictographs circa post-digital sensibilities.

You can choose the ball and death: the ball can choose you or death.

Those whom the ball has have nothing but the ball.

Others have no ball; they've got that.

"The anti-Obama whiners have no credibility or standing in this conversation."

Name the conversations they have standing in.

Do they have standing in the "fuck off and die slow" conversation?

How about the "you can suffer your ignorance without further empathy from your betters" conversation?

Negative rights don't appeal to Obama nor you.

Only more state (federal) ((heh, that's funny but most libs are too dumb to understand why "State" doesn't mean "Federal" and that is funny in the Coen "funny" sense of funny)) rights to take away from those who need their shit taken away by the state Federal State feds.

To be fair, all people who follow politics and vote Democratic will allow for mistakes in any, if it is to be, subsequent administrations. Things happen. People aren't perfect.

Election campaigns that have the tech wherewithal to amaze and demoralize and chasten the opponent CANNOT be transposed to Obamacare. That would require America not be a racist country. Obama has tried hard, but even He cannot save this Satan on the Potomac.

Intellectual consistency is the hallmark of what Tucker Carlson railed against when saying "every three months people need to rethink their basic fundamentals" or some such idiocy to sell his idiocy, which he did.

But without Tucker, where would we be?

Lesser off.

oh, I prompted a response from somefeller -- may be I did something right. You, somefeller and I started off at the same place (assuming you are a real human being and not a Obamabot. Only I had the intellectual honesty and courage to say that Democrats and especially Obama are fucked up, may be as equally as Bush and the Republicans.

I remember growing up, we had two dogs. One a female Boston Terrier, and the other a male Doberman. The Boston was about 6 years older when we got the Doberman puppy. She was definitely the Alpha for the next 8 years, but the doberman was right there to protect her if any other dog got in her space.
