"Hey! Hillary’s brain is off-limits! Leave her health records alone! Democrats are right..."

"... scouring records of a female candidate is just politics of personal destruction, and for the media to engage in it would be unfair, unethical, and absolutely UNPRECEDENTED. You can’t probe a woman like that because, well, it’s a war on women! Bunch of sexist, big meanies engaging in something heretofore unheard of, for shame...."

From the (damaged?) brain of Sarah Palin: sarcasm you don't need an undamaged brain to recognize as sarcasm.

Too many kids.

It's the talking-to-two-year-old effect.

She uses it on everybody.

Andrew Sullivan -- Are you sure Hillary's kids are her own? Better demand those medical records...out of fairness.

Sara Palin is a good woman. Picking her is the only good thing about John McCain's failed presidential campaign.

As usual, Sarah hits it out of the ballpark. She is right, they mangled her. (They still mangle her) but because she is not a liberal...even NOW never stood up for her.

Clinton, Inc.'s response to Karl Rove's remarks is like "Benghazi," all out of proportion to the provocation, and like "Benghazi," it leads to a strong suspicion that there is something more there that would be well for us to find out about.

Why would they? She's not a lesbian.

Let's not forget that they alleged Todd Palin was having an affair and how Sarah Palin couldn't even keep control of her own household and that was evidence of her unfitness to govern.

Many barrels of ink (digital and otherwise) were spilled explaining how the mere allegation of an affair was both proof and terribly important.

That makes every single one of Bill Clinton's current and past dalliances with other women both relevant and evidence of Hillary Clinton's unfitness to govern.

What's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander....

Whoa, now. There's a difference between accusing a woman of a fake pregnancy and brain damage. One is clearly off limits.

No one has heard of nor remembers Webb's role in smearing Palin, but apparently Meade wants to deflect a little blame from Andrew Sullivan. I think it's because Meade personally credits Sullivan with helping him find the Althouse blog in the first place (or so I read once here). Such loyalty is admirable, but cads will be cads and should ultimately be seen as such.

And you can't forgive someone who has no remorse.

Elephants have long memories, especially of being "put down."

Calm down there, chicklit. I was alluding to Webb Hubble, not Jim Webb. Check your apparently over-sensitive elephantine memory. Along with your sense of humor.

So something like this isn't allowed with Hillary!!?

Palin writes her own material. Any decent speechwriter would have told her to knock the rest of that post into it's own separate post. It dilutes the impact.

Palin sarcastically points out the obvious, but in a dictatorship (or more precisely a wanna-be dictatorship, we still have a few liberties remaining, and not all news outlets are Democrat propaganda organs) loudly pointing out the obvious is a devastating tool of resistance.

Why Sullivan hasn't been banished to journalistic Siberia for that prolonged War on Women attack is beyond me... oh, wait... never mind.

The interesting thing to me about Palin and Clinton is that Palin is a much better model for women than Clinton is.

Palin is a blue collar hero who not only worked in a career and pulled herself up by her own bootstraps (Todd has nothing to do with politics or even television) but she raised a family while doing so. Not just one token child, but many children. All of whom seem pretty well adjusted, although that could just be appearances. So far though, they don't seem to have any Paris Hiltons in the bunch.

Hillary on the other hand.... What the hell has she done? Well, she got credentialed, that's always a plus in the mind of Democrats. She married the right guy and road his coattails all the way to the Secretary of State.

And?

Here's the main difference for feminists. Hillary holds the right political views, Sarah does not.

Regardless of political views, I'd prefer 1 Sarah Palin over 10 Hillary Clintons.

Someone skilled in Flash should create a response video about Hillary with an x-ray of her head revealing her brain as a near-lifeless wasteland with a glaring sun, a cow skull, a vulture perched on a lone cactus, a featureless horizon.

Brain damaged or not, it would be accurate.

Is Althouse trying to be witty (catty) here, essentially saying that she suspects Palin is brain damaged or damaged goods?

Who cares what Althouse thinks. Let's hear from Michelle Goldberg!

No. They were on your side. People like Freeman Hunt. Going after them made you look small petty and pathetic.

I don't even need to go looking for nothing. I know. But since you think there's something, point to it. You're just wrong, let the record show.

Some people see my sense of humor and some don't.

I'm not going to sledgehammer.

I'm making fun of something. See if you can guess what.

If you can't, I don't really care.

This would be brilliant in a debate. Repeat one of the many many Clinton lies within the framework of that lie being reality, instead of pointing out the lie directly.

Say something like "if I have the facts correct here" but make sure to only repeat Clinton "facts" which are lies the machine wants dead and buried.

"Starting with the fact that she told her "friends" after piper's birth that she'd had a tubal ligation. Then, of course, no one on her staff even knew she was "pregnant" until a few weeks before the "birth", with pictures taken 3 weeks apart, to prove it. And the flight attendants on her wild trip (on two planes) from Texas back to Alaska saw any signs (like, for instance, a stomach bulge) that she was pregnant. And then, instead of stopping to "give birth" in Anchorage, in a hospital equipped to deal with preemies and complicated births, she travelled 2 hours by car to the little Wasilla hospital where her physician, who resigned about a month later, could "deliver". And...she was back in the office 3 days later with her little Down Syndrome baby, showing him off.
Hmmmmm.....too many suspicious details to suggest that she actually birthed tiny Trig.
Palin is a liar of the first order."

News flash!! Democratic Florida Rep. Joe Garcia said, “And two of the safest cities in America, two of them are on the border with Mexico,” Garcia continued. “And of course, the reason is we’ve proved that Communism works. If you give everybody a good government job, there’s no crime.”

And thus they diddly over Hillary's brain instead of what are the Democrat's aims.
